American Scale recently completed a huge installation in Lexington, North Carolina, where a steel slag processing facility required a robust weighing solution for their diverse fleet. The operation handles both 6-wheel drive Caterpillar off-road trucks hauling raw slag directly from the furnace, and standard semi-trucks transporting processed material to distribution points. The 60' x 16’ Off Road Vehicle Scale was selected for its proven durability and capacity to withstand the constant heavy traffic and extreme loads typical of slag operations.

The system's SKYNET DD1010 Indicator has proven instrumental in maintaining operational efficiency, seamlessly processing different vehicle types without calibration issues or delays.
