The Large Single Animal Livestock Scale is constructed for strength, stability and long-term durability in demanding livestock environments. The 1/4" steel deck plate is supported by a formed channel sub-structure to reduce deflection under load. A bolted rubber barn mat improves footing while helping maintain animal comfort during weighing.
Square tube steel racking with an integrated kick plate reinforces the structure and helps contain larger animals safely. Full-width slide gates at each end of the scale provide controlled access and smooth animal flow.
With an end load capacity of 100 percent at 5,000 lb, the scale maintains dependable performance even under concentrated loading conditions. The NEMA 4 junction box with signal trim summing board protects electrical components while allowing accurate signal adjustment.
Available in 8' x 3' and 8' x 4' sizes, the scale uses plated alloy steel load cells rated at 350 Ohms and 3.0 mV/V. Optional hermetically sealed IP68 load cells are available for washdown or high-moisture environments.
Ideal applications include veterinary practices, agriculture organizations, research facilities, county fairs, and operations requiring reliable single animal weighing at higher capacities.
