The SETM2 mount kit can be enhanced with stainless steel surface treatments to support long-term performance in corrosive or hygienic environments.

  • Passivation removes embedded iron and fabrication residues, restoring the protective oxide layer to improve resistance to corrosion

  • Passivation with Electropolishing further refines the finish by reducing surface roughness, improving cleanability and reducing microbial retention

Each upgrade is sold per mount. Most SETM2 kits include either 3 or 4 mounts, so quantities must be selected accordingly.

Envelope sizing is determined by total system capacity:

  • Small Envelope (SE) applies to kits with a total capacity of 10,000 lb or less

  • Large Envelope (LE) applies to kits with a total capacity over 10,000 lb

This upgrade is well-suited for food processing, pharmaceutical, biotech, and cleanroom installations where sanitary finishes and corrosion resistance are critical.
