Drum Scale Stainless Steel Finish Upgrade
This stainless steel finish upgrade is exclusive to the Drum Scale and must be purchased in addition to the base scale. Offered in passivation or passivation with electropolishing to enhance corrosion protection, surface hygiene and durability in wet, chemical or sanitary applications.

The Drum Scale can be upgraded with stainless steel treatments to enhance resilience and ease of maintenance in challenging environments.

Passivation removes residual iron and surface contaminants, restoring the stainless steel’s protective chromium oxide layer and enhancing its rust resistance.

Passivation with Electropolishing extends the finish to a mirror-smooth, high-luster surface. This reduces microbial adhesion and speeds sanitization during washdown.
These enhancements are suitable for drum handling areas in food, beverage, chemical, or pharmaceutical facilities where moisture exposure and frequent cleaning are common. The Drum Scale is offered in configurations with or without detachable ramps and optional indicator columns.
