DETM2 Stainless Steel Finish 4-Mount Upgrade
This stainless finish upgrade applies to individual DETM2 load cell mounts and must be purchased per mount. Offered in passivation or passivation with electropolishing, this upgrade enhances corrosion protection, cleanliness and long-term performance in sanitary or corrosive environments. Pricing is determined per mount and varies by envelope size.

The DETM2 mount kit supports a variety of load cell configurations and is now available with stainless finish upgrades to enhance corrosion resistance and surface hygiene in demanding environments.

Passivation chemically removes surface contaminants and iron particles to restore the stainless steel’s protective oxide layer

Passivation with Electropolishing adds an electrochemical polish that reduces surface roughness and improves cleanability
Each upgrade is applied per individual mount. Most DETM2 kits include either 3 or 4 mounts, so the appropriate number of upgrades must be selected.
Upgrade pricing is based on total kit capacity:

Small Envelope (SE) upgrades apply to kits with a total capacity of 40,000 lb or less

Large Envelope (LE) upgrades apply to kits with a total capacity exceeding 40,000 lb
