Clydesdale Lift Deck Stainless Steel Finish Upgrade
This stainless finish offering is an upgrade for the Clydesdale Lift Deck floor scale and must be purchased in addition to the base scale. Available in passivation or passivation with electropolishing to deliver stronger corrosion protection, improved sanitation and easier washdown performance in heavy-duty or regulated applications.
- Enhanced Corrosion Resistance – Surface enhancements shield against harsh chemicals and moisture
- Ultra‑Clean Surfaces – Electropolishing reduces surface roughness to limit bacterial or contaminant buildup
- Regulation‑Friendly – Complies with ASTM A967 and B912 to support FDA USDA and GMP requirements
- Simplified Cleaning – Smooth finishes and 70° deck access reduce cleaning time and effort
- Robust Construction – Backed by stainless structural tubing, IP69K load cells and gas-shock-assisted deck access
Details
The Clydesdale Lift Deck can be enhanced with stainless steel surface treatments engineered for reliability and cleanliness in tough environments.
-
Passivation eliminates free iron and fabrication residues, rebuilding the stainless steel’s corrosion-resistant oxide layer for prolonged durability.
-
Passivation with Electropolishing follows chemical passivation with an electrochemical smoothing process that creates an ultra-clean, reflective finish that resists bacterial adhesion and simplifies washdown.
The base Clydesdale Lift Deck features a ¼″ 304 stainless steel plate, stainless structural tubing, lifting handles, dual gas shocks for 70° deck access, and hermetically sealed IP69K load cells—ideal for continuous cleanout and rigorous cleaning routines. These upgrades increase washdown readiness in food processing, pharmaceutical, chemical or marine plants.
