The Clydesdale Column is available with optional stainless steel finish upgrades, including passivation and passivation with electropolishing. These enhancements deliver greater corrosion resistance, surface hygiene and durability for use in clean or caustic environments.

The Clydesdale Column can now be finished with one of two upgrade treatments designed to meet the demands of regulated or high-purity environments.

Passivation chemically strips surface iron and embedded contaminants, restoring the material’s natural corrosion resistance and improving longevity.

Passivation with Electropolishing provides an ultra-smooth, high-luster finish that improves cleanability and aesthetic appeal while further enhancing corrosion resistance.
These treatments are well-suited for columns installed in food production, pharmaceutical, biotech and chemical processing settings where contamination and rust must be minimized.
