- B-TEK Scales, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Brechbuhler Scales, Inc. to manufacture industrial scales.
- A 38,825 square foot expansion broke ground in June of 2003 at the
B-TEK Scales manufacturing facility in Canton, Ohio. The expansion was completed in the fourth quarter of 2003.
- In September 2003, B-TEK Scales announced the formation of a joint venture with the international scale manufacturer, Bilanciai International of Modena, Italy, and
a partner in England, Weightron,

- At the beginning of 2004, B- TEK Scales introduced the Centurion™ motor truck scale featuring CPD-M digital load cells. With over 10,000 installations worldwide, the Centurion™ became available exclusively through B- TEK Scales distributors in the North American market.
- B-TEK Scales announced the expansion of their United States manufacturing capabilities. Beginning in January of 2005, the Southwestern Scale Company became an authorized manufacturer of the B-TEK product line.
