After the successful Giraffe application, B-TEK scales has teamed with Brechbuhler Scales again to customize a
solution for the Cincinnati Zoo and their beloved elephants.
One of the many challenges with this install was to AVOID damaging the in floor heating system when installing
the scale and working within a confined work space. Brechbuhler handled the job flawlessly.
The application also required a low profile scale with an access plate for easy cleaning and Brechbuhler Scales
requested B-TEK Scales, their exclusive custom scale manufacturer, to fabricate a floor scale to fit that need. The
scale will be located in the holding cage where the animals receive veterinarian care. As you can see from the photos,
technicians and trainers alike were happy to interact with the gracious elephants. |
