B-TEK Scales fabricated components for a unique
military air craft scale. The Platforms are raised and
lowered to perform various weight calculations on the jet.
Challenge:
Fully customized hydraulic powered
scales with an 18' deep pit, The mounts bolt to the bottom
of thick plate which engages the top "workhorse" platform
where the aircraft wheel is tied down.
Solution:
B-TEK Scales' engineering department
worked directly with the client to meet their weighing
needs and unique request. One of three platform scales
used to weigh military fighter jet. The load cell mount
assemblies and scissor lift table supplied by dealer
& B-TEK designed and built the custom weighbridge
platforms & in-floor frame. Landing gear of aircraft
strapped to top of scale platforms. |
